Terms and Conditions for Cedar Mechanical & Electrical


1. Definitions:
"Company" refers to Cedar Mechanical & Electrical.
"Client" refers to the party engaging the services of the Company.
"Services" refers to the electrical and mechanical services provided by the Company.


2. Scope of Services:
The Company agrees to provide electrical and mechanical services as outlined in the agreed-upon project scope and specifications.


3. Quotations and Pricing:
Quotations provided by the Company are valid for 30 days.
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.


4. Payment Terms:
Invoices are due within 7 days from the date of issue or as stated on invoice.
Late payments may be subject to interest charges of Bank of England base rate per month.
The Company reserves the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.


5. Changes and Amendments:
Any changes or amendments to the project scope must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
Additional costs resulting from changes will be communicated and agreed upon before implementation.


6. Project Timeline:
The Company will make reasonable efforts to adhere to the agreed project timeline, but delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.


7. Warranties:
The Company provides a 1 year warranty on workmanship from the completion date.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.


8. Liability:
The Company is not liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the provision of services.


9. Health and Safety:
The Company adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations.


10. Termination:
- Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice in the event of a material breach by the other party.


11. Confidentiality:
- Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information obtained during the course of the project.


12. Force Majeure:
- Neither party is liable for delays or non-performance due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control.


13. Governing Law:
- This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.


14. Dispute Resolution:
- Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved through negotiation or mediation before legal action is pursued.


15. Entire Agreement:
- These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.


By engaging the services of Cedar Mechanical & Electrical, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
